Terms & Conditions

We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible quality products and service for all your laser cutting and engraving requirements.   ​

Any product names, logos, brands, and other trademarks featured or referred to within our website and social media remain property of their respective trademark holders.

These trademark holders are not affiliated with Kambrootech. We design and create products that may be used in conjunction with their products. 

The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Introduction

Please read these terms of use carefully. By accessing our site or using our services, you acknowledge that you understand, agree, and are bound by these terms.

Modification of Terms

At our discretion, Kambrootech may edit, add, or remove parts of this agreement. If we do make changes to these Terms of Use, we will make a reasonable effort to provide notice.

Prohibited Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct and agree to abide by all laws, contracts, intellectual property and third-party rights.

Termination

Kambrootech reserves the right to terminate our services if we deem these Terms of Use have been violated.

Payments

Kambrootech allows customers to order products via the website and social media.  Once the order has been placed, you will be invoiced and payment can be made via our invoice portal or bank transfer.  Prices include 15% GST.  All transactions are completed and charged in New Zealand Dollars. Large custom orders require payment upon collection and may be subject to a non-refundable deposit.​

Order Cancellations

We understand that changes of mind can happen and you’re able to request order cancellation within the first 5 hours of placement to receive a full refund less any Transaction Fees we have incurred.  Transaction Fees are charged to us for all payments made by PayPal / Credit Cards and are payable by the customer in the event of a cancellation.  We are unable to cancel an order once it has been shipped.  All warranty remediations are exempt from these fees and surcharges.

Customised Orders

All customised and personalised orders are final so please check spelling and wording when placing your order. If you provide a design file, please double-check that it is correct before sending it to us. Please note that some custom orders can have a lead time of two weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project. We will let you know what the expected time frame is in our discussions.

While we strive to ensure that all finished items meet our customers’ expectations, we cannot be held responsible for errors or defects resulting from incorrect design files. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the design files submitted are accurate and meet their requirements. By using our services, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold Kambrootech harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the use of incorrect design files. We recommend that customers carefully review their design files before submitting them to us to avoid any potential issues.

Our team strives to deliver all orders within two weeks of placement. Large orders may take longer to fullfil and we will communicate due dates with the client.

International Sales, Duty and Import Regulations

Overseas purchases are welcome, however, the postage could be costly.  Please contact us for shipping quotes.  Products ordered from our website for delivery outside New Zealand may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches your specified destination.  We have no involvement with these charges nor can we advise you of their likely cost as you are responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.  If you are in any doubt, we suggest that, before placing your order, you speak to your local customs office to find out more.

Stock

We hold some stock and mainly cut to order. We have an excellent timeframe for turnaround and aim to get all orders dispatched within five working days. This timeframe may vary during peak seasons.  All of our products are designed and manufactured on-site so we are not relying on outside influences.

Shipping

You will receive an email with notification of the track and trace number.  There are occasional delays with couriers due to factors that are out of our control.  Please note that there may be delays in your package delivery during busy seasons, natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances beyond the courier companies’ or our control.

The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when they are physically deposited at the address given to us by the Customer or consignee for that purpose, or have been collected from our premises or an authorised agent. The Customer accepts that no form of acknowledgement that delivery has occurred is required to be obtained except in those instances where the Customer has specified, and Kambrootech has agreed, that we obtain proof of delivery. In addition, where:

  1. the delivery is to a rural area (an additional 2 – 3 days for delivery may be required); or
  2. the consignee has signed an Authority to Leave form;

the Customer agrees that no proof of delivery or form of acknowledgement that delivery has occurred need be obtained, regardless of any form of ticket used.

We can only deliver to a physical address. We are not liable for the loss of any item that is presented to us for delivery to a postal address.

We will endeavour to deliver items (correctly addressed) within the delivery target for the “said” service. However, we do not guarantee delivery of your item within these delivery targets.

Damaged / Faulty / Incorrect / Missing Items

We do our very best to check over all items before packing them to be sent out.  Occasionally a fault is overlooked so please contact us via email on info@kambrootech.co.nz with a photograph and description of the fault so we can arrange a replacement for you.  If the faulty item is not a custom item, we may require you to send it back to us (at our cost), so please do not discard it. 

Sometimes items are damaged during transit.  Unfortunately, this is out of our control as we know your package is in perfect condition when it leaves us.   

While we do take care when processing your order, we are only human and occasionally make mistakes.  If you receive the wrong items or something is missing, then please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can remedy the situation quickly and get the correct goods on their way to you.

You are eligible for a repair, exchange or at our discretion a full refund in the event an item arrives that is incorrect, damaged, faulty or has missing parts.  A replacement item will be shipped out to you as soon as possible.  Your original shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

Product Safety

We are all responsible for the safety of our children, so please keep all our items out of the reach of children.

Your Consent, Privacy, Rights to Access and Change Information

Kambrootech respects and protects the privacy of our customers including online visitors. We understand the need to safeguard your personal information and we respect your rights under the Privacy Act and Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act.

We collect information from you to enable the delivery of the product you purchase.  This information is not passed on to anyone else nor sold and is securely stored.  If you choose not to enter full contact details, we may be unable to get in touch or provide our products and services to your address.

You have the right to ask for a copy or review any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.  If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information or to have it corrected, please contact us by using our contact form or via email at info@kambrootech.co.nz.

From time to time we may email you with information on new products or other relevant news relating to Kambrootech.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Any claim relating to Kambrootech website shall be governed by the laws of the Country of New Zealand without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

This Agreement does not seek to exclude any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other applicable legislation that may apply to purchases of any goods or services that you order using the website.

To the extent permitted by law, business customers agree that where products are purchased for the purpose of a business the Consumer Guarantees Act or equivalent consumer protection legislation does not apply.

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Kambrootech.  In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or refund you for the product.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally.  This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used.  The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act.

GST and Taxes

The price stated for any goods or services offered on the website for delivery within New Zealand is exclusive of any GST.
